Luke Frost is a classical pianist, piano teacher, and performer with a deep passion for music. Luke received a full scholarship for his Bachelor of Music, holds a Licentiate of Music (LMusA), and has performed in concert series around Tasmania as both a soloist and ensemble member. His musical interests encompass a broad range of genres and styles, including everything from 16th-century choral works, Baroque to modern classical, contemporary music, as well as jazz and film scores.
Luke has co-organised and performed in a fundraiser concert for Ukraine, recorded at the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra Studio, and been featured in their acclaimed ‘Daily Dose’ series.
Luke is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Arts and Laws, and brings strong analytical, collaborative, and cross-cultural insight to his work. His academic focus on international law and his love for traveling have given him a strong appreciation for the intersection of people, cultures, ideas, and artistic expression.
Luke has always enjoyed a range of creative and interdisciplinary pursuits, including creative writing, participating in experimental ensembles, and co-designing art exhibitions and installations. He is passionate about the arts, and looks forward to supporting the Lutruwita Art Orchestra’s mission to celebrate diversity through music.
