Daaf,  Tombak 
Guest Artist for نغمه جاودانه (Naghmeh Javdaneh): Eternal Resonance

Sina (he/him) was born in Esfahan, Iran. Sina studied Tombak, one of the world’s oldest goblet drums, in 2005 with Morteza Ghasemi. He combines technology with traditional music and developed and registered the first Music Institute software in Iran in 2010, now being used by over 1000 music institutes in three different counties. Sina was a major sponsor of some of Esfahan’s traditional and fusion concerts.

After migration to Australia, Sina met other Iranian artists in lutruwita/Tasmania through the Iranian Australian community and started the Ava Music group. Sina performed on multiple stages and presented classical Iranian music to various Tasmanian audiences.

Some of his activities are the Multicultural Festival Hobart, Government House and Dark Mofo, Winter Light at Salamanca Art Centre and a co-commission with Ehsan Zabihi for the Floating Scores audio project. 
He also worked with Ehsan and Stevie on the idea which became نغمه جاودانه (Naghmeh Javdaneh): Eternal Resonance.
