We are very honoured to be part of the Beaker St Festival in 2026, which is a first for LAO. For the festival we are planning 'Eco-Cave', which will bring together our love of expression through sound, our desire to produce thought provoking experiences, as well as our care for our world. 
Eco-Cave will be a sensory and immersive experience for audiences that will incorporate sound, visuals and interactive experiences within created 'cave' chambers.
Eco-Cave will generate meaningful conversations about our fears and responses to climate change and the joy and possibilities associated with the connectedness of all living things. It will be an all ages and science backed performance. It will involve collaboration with performing artists, scientific experts and producers.

We are very grateful for grants received from Arts Tasmania and Creative Australia which support our work for 2026. However, we would love to raise $12,000 to produce our full program for Eco-Cave. Without additional funds we will need to reduce our plans for 2026.

We are delighted to say that Eco-Cave has been approved as an eligible fundraising project through the tax-deductible donations fund, the Australian Cultural Fund, operated by Creative Australia. LAO has set up a donation site for Eco-Cave, accessible through the Donate button below. All donations over $2 are tax-deductible and all funds will be fully distributed to LAO for Eco-Cave purposes. We would be both thrilled and humbled if you would like to support us in our Eco-Cave work, in any amount that is comfortable to you.
